First, I hop up on the little ledge that separates the living room from the stairs and I watch her put on her coat.
As she walks toward the stairs I flip over and look adorable. Next, I rub my head against hers and sometimes even reach out my paw.
After a minute of petting she starts walking again, so I hang over the ledge and look pitiful. Lately, I have started following her down the stairs, so that she has to look at my as she's shutting the door. Sometimes, I will even run and hop up in a window and watch her walk the whole way. That way I know I will get extra treats when she gets home!!

Truly masterful work there Tuck!
ReplyDeleteOh Tuck, that must reallly squeeze your mom's heart. Chilli actally tries to dash out the door (and succeded several times already). Maybe some day you will get a furry friend... It's hard the first week, but then you will adore your sibling.
