I Got Skills

I have award-winning hiding skills! Ernie, over at the Island Cats, passed on this special award to me last week. It's meant for cats who do a good job at hiding.
This is the picture that helped me nab the prestigious Golden Award.

I have spent a great deal of time thinking about which cat to pass it along to. There are so many that are good at the hidey. In the end, I have decided to pass it to a kitty that is so very good at it that he hides for hours at a time. This handsome mancat recently began the transition from feral to beloved and is having a tough time adjusting to life indoors. Nigel, this award is for you! I hope things are looking up for you buddy!

    That is so thoughtful of you to think of my new brother for his very first award. He is still having a tough time, but mom was actually able to pet him this morning for a little bit. He seemed to like it but he's still so unsure and afraid. He went back behind the couch. Slow baby steps but we are hopeful!
