I recently found a way to climb up to the closet shelves. This is another one of those places that I'm not supposed to be. As usual, that doesn't stop me!
I was thinking about walking across the trim here. Then decided to just jump instead.
My favorite thing to do in the closet is to balance myself on the bar where the clothes hang and bat around the light string. Jen says that my claws are out in this picture way too much to be around clothes. So now the closet door is being kept shut unless someone is in it. The humans don't want me to have any fun!
By the way, a special thanks to Maggy, Zoey and Ann over at Zoolatry for my new banner! Thanks ladies I LOVE it!!
(snickers, with a playful grin...) Tuck, come out of the closet.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I'm the first cat to say that here in the comments. The opportunity to make that funny was too easy. Forgive me, bro!
We just love your new banner, Tuck!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are so cute! You have a great mancave in that closet!
Tuck, we think the closet is the purrfect place to hide out and take a nap! It's so quiet in there (usually)!!
ReplyDeleteWe love love love your new banner...more Tuck to see!
I love to play in closets like that!
ReplyDeleteGemini
Ah spoil sports your beans keeping you out, you look to be having so much fun hanging on that rail.
ReplyDeleteWe love your new banner. Those lovely people did my new one too. They are so clever.
Hugs Ginger Jasper xx
yeah, closets are "forbidden" to us too
ReplyDeleteNice climbing! I don't have a closet, but there's a mound of carriers I like to climb that makes the humans around here a little nervous.
ReplyDeleteThat photo of you balancing on the clothes bar is too funny! And your new banner is wonderful - it's the first thing we noticed.
ReplyDeleteYou are doing great in your mancat-in-training training, Tuck! We love your new banner too!
ReplyDeleteThe new banner looks fabulous! That closet looks like a super-fun place to play, Tuck!
ReplyDeleteYour Pals,
Tom and Tama-Chan
We just love your new banner! Have fun today:)
ReplyDeleteHi Tuck! I'm very impressed with your activities in the closet. It is important to find all the highest places. I'm sorry that it is being closed off to you, but you do have to be careful with the claws around clothing. The humans don't like the artwork that we create... they call it "snags".
ReplyDeleteMy favorite photo of you is in the sidebar, where you look like you were photographed in mid-meow. It always cracks me up!
Looks like so much fun. Places you're not supposed to be?!?!??! We've never heard of such a thing.
ReplyDeleteNow that is something I am going to have to try!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Banshee
There are so many good things about this post! First you're up where you're not supposed to go. Nice. Second your balance is fantastic. Very nice. and Third, you're getting all your furs on all those clean hanging clothes. I love it!!!!
ReplyDeleteSweet banner! Whoa, you've got mancat written all over you, look at those climbing skills!
ReplyDeleteHow on earth did you get up there?
ReplyDeleteSweet! Looks fun.
ReplyDeletewow! what a great time you had. that looks so fun hanging on the clothes. you are very gymnasticy. nice!!!
ReplyDeleteYour banner is really lovely. Zoolatry are so talented - they made ours too.
ReplyDeleteAlfie loves to go in Mom's closet too. But she tries to keep him out 'cos she said: "he snagglepusses her clothes"!
Humans are party poopers sometimes! It looks like you were having great fun, though.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Zoolatry did a great job on the banner!
ReplyDeleteThat's some great Mancat training. Mom found me sleeping on her clothes hanging on the rod one day. Closets are the best to play in, but now I sleep on the flood instead.
ReplyDelete--Jasper
Tuck, you're learning valuable mancat skills by climbing in that closet. If you put it to your Mom that way, maybe she'll let you play in there -- or let you have another even better place for you to climb!
ReplyDeleteIt seems lettuce isn't the only thing we have in common! I LOVE being inside the closet, especially way up high.
ReplyDeleteThe humans don't want us in there so they close the door. On those occasions when I can't open it, I keep on banging until they have to get up and open it for me.
It's all about being persistant as you train them. They're slow but eventually get it.
Cinza
PS Thanks for your kind comments about our woman. :)
ReplyDeleteWe like your new banner!
ReplyDeleteYou are a really good climber! We also love to be in the closet. But one day Olli trapped Luna in the closet when he jumped at the door.
Be careful!
...little Tuck.....I am coming to kit-nap you!....
ReplyDeleteTuck, I am always getting in trouble for being places I shouldn't be too ... it's soooo much fun to be a trouble maker, isn't it! Hee hee! You are doing your training well!
ReplyDeletePurrs and headbutts,
Simon
Humans should know that once they tell us there is a place we shouldn't go that is the exact place we want to be. Nemo went onto the cabinets and tried to walk behind a bunch of collector wine bottles. Mom was gasping and trying to get him to not rub them. It wouldn't have been so fun if she said to go up there all we want.

I left you a little award - Mom did something and posted twice in a day. Not sure you saw the second one with your award.
ReplyDeleteI am Jealous of those very nice fingernails you have in the last picture. I slipped off my desk a few days ago, and that Never would have happened with fingernails!
