Mancat (In Training) Monday: Let Me Help

My humans have been very busy lately. Jen has even been working at home in the evenings. So, I did what any good mancat would do. I offered a helping paw.

Hey there, whatcha workin' on?

Do you need some help? I'd be happy to type for you...

What do you mean you have to do it yourself?

Seriously, let me help. I insist

How can you ignore this face?

HEY HUMAN! Don't ignore me. I will help you whether you want it or not!

  2. These are so cute, Tuck! And isn't the work humans do silly?

P.S. Our mom has been working at home too, and Dobby likes to help her type. We wish she thought we were cute when we did it!

  8. I suspect your human pet was trying to get rid of you, Tuck. I know you tried to sabotage her efforts by appearing cute and innocent, but apparently you need to move to more drastic measures, i.e., rolling on your back and showing the tummy. That gets them every time!

  10. Very good effort there. We tend to get in front of the screen. More effective we think.

  13. We love those pictures! Such a good mancat, trying to help. :) But we think maybe she wasn't doing work after all at that moment? Try walking on the keyboard, then laying down on her hands. That's what we do!

  14. you're so dedicated, they should be overjoyed!

  15. Cute pics! Target helps me every day by standing on the F1 button - clearly he thinks I need more help than he can provide.

  16. Tuck, my technique was to park my cute little hind end on the keyboard and open up notepad...then type a few words myself. Mom still can't figure out how I did it, but now they keep the laptop closed and unfortunately they are wasting my talent. Don't let that happen to you.

  17. I think you should find crawling onto their laptop and laying there despite their protesting is the most helpful thing a cat can do. Try it! ;)

  18. Hi Tuck,

I concur with Mr. Raves; it really works!! Besides, how could Jen ever really deny help from such a handsome mancat:).

Thanks for your nice words re: my pic.

  19. I think your Mom should have let you help, Tuck. The work would go much faster with two hands and two paws typing.

  22. Hi Tuck, I read your comment on my boyfriend Cliff's blog and I thought I would let you know I have a twin sister named Scylla. You should drop by our blog and say hi to her. She is very sweet once you get to know her. ~Charybdis

  23. Way to go, Tuck. Jan doesn't pay any attention to us either when we offer to help.
