Has Anyone Seen My Human?

My human left yesterday with her bags and I heard her say she won't be back until Thursday.  She had to go to someplace called Atlanta for her day hunting.  If you see her can you send her back to me?  I heard whispers that she may be hanging out with woofies during her day hunting.  I think she's a bit of a traitor!  I'll get all the details when she returns!

It's an Addiction...

Like some of you other kitties out there, I also got an email a couple of weeks ago from Isabel, from Addiction Foods, inviting me to try their food. I said sure. I'm an adventurous sort of mancat-in-training, so I'll try anything once.

Jen said it is very healthy. It's all-natural, grain-free and contains lots of things that are good for me, such as venison and dried vegetables. I checked out the ingredient list and sure enough, some of the first ingredients are venison, dried potatoes, dried kelp, dried carrots, dried cranberries, dried apples and dried spinach. Yum! Addiction also makes all-natural canned food, but I'm not allowed to eat that. I only get dry food. For any kitty who doesn't like venison, they also have Salmon Bleu...which is made with real Salmon, cranberries, blueberries and raspberries! It sounds delicious!

Hmm, what do we have here?

This package smells pretty good. Why haven't my humans opened it yet? They are so slow.

Let me me see what's in here...I want some of that!

I couldn't even wait to get it in my bowl. I made Jen feed me out of her hand.

More please...

Fine, I will just take matters into my own hands!

As you can see, I took to the food immediately! The closest pet store that carries Addiction Pet Food is a half hour away, but Jen told me she can order it online. I think I am going to make the switch. The only thing that could make this any better would be if it was served to me on a bed of lettuce! JEN...did you hear that??

Oh, one more note...Addiction also makes food for woofies. Apparently, the food won an award by some woofie magazine. So if you have a woofie sibling they can get addicted too!

Visiting the V-E-T

Today I went to the V-E-T. It was the first time that I had been since they clipped my ear, stole my manhood and stuck me with a needle. Jen wasn't sure that I'd had all my shots and she wanted me to have a check up. So in I went. I was in my carrier and there was a couple in the waiting room worried that their woofies would scare me. Please. They had two tiny little things, barely bigger than me. They clearly had no clue who they were talking to. I was born in a barn with horses and sometimes play with my Golden Retriever cousins. I am fierce and will not be frightened by a cute little pup.

Finally, I was called back in a little room where I was violated! They took a thermometer and stuck it...well, you can imagine where. And Jen held me while they did it. Dreadful lady she is (I'll remember this.) Then they stole my blood, injected me with some sort of liquid and promised to see me in three weeks. I am not happy.

On the bright side, I am thrilled to report that I am quickly progressing in my quest to become a mancat. I now weigh in at a whopping 9 pounds and the V-E-T told Jen that I am the perfect weight for my size. At least someone admits that I am perfect.

I've asked Jen to post a picture showing how grown up I am starting to look...
